Education

The British University in Egypt welcomed its first group of students in
September 2005 when they began their undergraduate degree on a
brand new state-of-the-art campus. A group of UK universities namely
Loughborough, London South Bank and Queen Margaret provide the
academic direction, teaching and quality management processes thereby
ensuring the British quality of education. The university currently includes
the following seven faculties: Business Administration, Economics &
Political Sciences (BAEPS), Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Informatics
and Computer Science, Communication & Mass Media and Nursing. Two
additional faculties for Energy & Environmental Engineering and Urban
Planning & Design will be launched in the near future.

BUE is focused on encouraging personal integrity and academic excellence
alongside fostering forward thinking philosophies, innovation and teamwork
spirit. Being research led, the British style of education focuses on making
students develop problem-solving and analytical skills through a personal- “The roots of

Shorouk Academy offers academic programs, equivalent in content Aristotle
and quality to those offered by leading institutions of higher education
worldwide. Shorouk Academy gives its graduates an education that ena-

constructive directions. The faculty staff, administrators, and students
of Shorouk Academy are committed to creating a learning environment,
which encourage all members of the campus community to expand their
intellectual creative and social horizon. The academy’s mission is «to
challenge one another to realize our potential to appreciate and contribute
to the enrichment of our diverse community and to develop a desire for life
learning».

Tenth of Ramadan for Development and Educational Services
was established in 1996 to participate in raising the educational level and
scientific research in Egypt through providing active programs with the most
modern methods in co-operation with the most elite universities in the world.
This organization promotes academic excellence in teaching and scholarly
activities and fruitful partnerships with surrounding communities.
